Scott was called to join our team at St. Cloud Community Church and St. Cloud

Christian Academy in 2024 as School Principal and Education Pastor. Previously, he

has served schools of quality and churches around the country as a school leader and

pastor for over 25 years. He has successfully navigated schools through dynamic

seasons of growth and development, including new school construction projects and

accreditation.

Scott’s style of leadership is best defined as “collaborative visionary”. He is driven to

grow a ministry and school community with Christ as the nucleus that positively impacts

our state, country, and planet. Scott enjoys mentoring in group and one-on-one settings

with students, faculty, and church members. Scott has been certified as a PreK through

College Administrator with the Association of Christian Schools International and served

on the leadership board of the Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association. Scott

graduated from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and has an undergraduate

degree from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia.

Crystal Wasdin serves as Middle and High School Coordinator at SCCA. Her teaching and administrative experience includes tenures in California, Tennessee, Texas, and

Virginia. Crystal received her education degree from Lee University in Tennessee.

Scott and Crystal have four children: Josh, Xander, Matthew, and Emma.
